Answers for Student Success Seminar
I came to Converse for the music department. I also came for the small classes. I chose Converse specifically because I want to learn to how to come out of my shell so to speak. I am normally a quiet, in the background person but I really want to be a singer. I decided to study music because I want to become a singer. I chose Converse for the music department because I heard how great it is. If I had to give up cereal or sandwiches for the rest of my life, I would give up sandwiches. I would give up sandwiches because you can get more nutrients from cereal. With cereal you get calcium, protein, and other things that your body needs. With sandwiches, you may not be getting all of the nutrients the your body needs. With some sandwiches you will but you may lack something that you need. Some sandwiches that you choose to eat may not have all of the essential vitamins and minerals that your body as some cereals might have. I could live without sandwiches for the rest of my life because I don't eat that many sandwiches in the first place but it would be hard without them sometimes. Sometimes I am just in the mood for a sandwich. I could live without them but it would be very hard.

Welcome to Converse and Student Success Seminar, Breanne! I think this can be a wonderful place for you--I always tell my colleagues at other colleges that our students might show up quiet and withdrawn, but they seldom graduate that way. :-)
ReplyDeleteAs to your writing, do take a moment to organize your thoughts before you start to type. Think about each point you need to cover (1. Why College, 2. Why Converse, 3. Why Music, 4. Why Sandwiches), and place your thoughts into those "boxes" before you get started.
We're so glad you're here! Oh, and that's a great picture of you and your guitar!
Thank goodness for another cereal lover. I'm addicted to cereal and as voice people that isn't such a great thing for us because dairy causes mucus.
