This is a video of a Cherokee morning song. I found it interesting because it is not like any of the Native American music we have listened to in class. I chose it because of my ties to the Cherokee Tribe. This particular does not have the sane timbre and the ones we have listened to. I chose this next video for two reasons. It is interesting and it also ties in with religion. I know it is not anything like the pieces we have heard, but it spoke to me in a way that I can’t explain correctly. I like this video because it uses most of the instruments that we have studied. It is interesting because it has a catchy rhythm. Unlike the videos we have seen in class, some of the people took relatively happy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeuQvk2D7AY
Interesting videos, Breanne, but you need to make them more accessible to your readers. Either set the web address up as a link or, better yet, just embed the video into the body of your text. If you go to Help at the top of your blog page you can find information on how to embed videos--it's really not that hard.
